Night Shift 0205: Family Values-Robin / Patrick
Jagger and Stone arrive at the hospital. They run into Patrick and tell him they are there to see Saira. Robert packs his bag to leave, while Robin watches. He begins to head out, but she stops him and tells him he isn #39;t leaving. Kyle and EMTs bring in two women who were in a house fire. Patrick, Leo, and Claire begin working on them, and one of the women flat lines, so they begin trying to bring her back. A little later, the woman who flat lined earlier, Cynthia, is lying in a hospital bed. Patrick, Kyle, and Leo look over her, and then Epiphany brings in Alison, who is her partner and was the other woman in the fire. The doctors leave. Robin tells Robert that his colon cancer is stage four, out of four. He asks for the survival rate, and she tells him it #39;s only ten percent, and they will have to perform surgery and remove part of his colon, and he will be hospitalized for several months before he is in the clear. Toussaint and Claire bring up the man from the morgue, with the sheet still over him. Patrick tells them to take it back, but then he speaks again. His name is Alan Skinner and he insists that he is dead. Irritated with the situation, Patrick tells Toussaint to test Allen for drugs and Claire heads off to check how he was pronounced dead. Robin and Robert argue more and he tells Robin he will come back, or will be treated elsewhere. He tells her he knows the risk and can #39;t have this ruin his life.
