Chattanooga Unite is down to its last show of the summer, Nightfall continues and fundraising events in Polk County, Tennessee, will support an initiative aimed at preventing suicides among military veterans.

Nightfall: Chattanooga artist Emily Kate Boyd will open for Radio Free Honduras for the virtual Nightfall show starting at 7 p.m. Friday. Boyd is an award-winning songwriter with musical roots in folk, soul and rock, and her voice tends toward rugged blues and jazz. Radio Free Honduras is a Chicago band that melds Spanish flamenco, rock, jazz fusion and Latin country. Listen on the Nightfall Music Series Facebook page or on YouTube at Virtual Nightfall.

Chattanooga Unite bows out with Sound Advice, a Chattanooga-based jazz/neo-soul ensemble. Jazz musician Gino Fanelli, a Detroit transplant, opens the show at 7 p.m., followed by alternative rock/pop band The Afternooners at 8 p.m. and the headliners at 9 p.m. The stage is at the Tennessee Riverpark, 4301 Amnicola Highway. Shepherd's Men will host two events on Saturday, Aug. 22, to raise funds and awareness for post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury treatment among military veterans.Shepherd's Menis a team of active-duty, medically retired and honorably discharged service members and civilian patriots dedicated to helping the Atlanta-based Shepherd Center's SHARE Military Initiative.

The first event is noon-6 p.m. at Buck Bald Brewing, 160 Ocoee St. in Copperhill, Tennessee. The brewery will sell two beers brewed specifically for Shepherd's Men, 22 Pale Ale and 10W-22 Stout, and donate all proceeds from sales to the organization. Food will be provided by Blue Jeans Pizza. Musician Shannon York will entertain, and there will be a silent auction.

A benefit concert will follow at 7:30 p.m., 6 miles away in the outdoor amphitheater at The Cabins at Copperhill, 496 Deal Road. The show will feature Georgia Music Hall of Famer Kevn Kinney, the legendary frontman for Drivin N Cryin, and singer/songwriter Levi Lowrey, who has penned hits for the Zac Brown Band. Each will play a one-hour set.
