ALL Graduates were recognized as NC Scholars, Honor Graduates and National Honor Society Members. NHS Holds a Blood Drive On Friday, April 8th, 2016, NERSBA National Honor Society hosted its first community service project; a Red Cross Blood Drive. The National Honor Society, headed by Mrs. Christi Rogerson and Mrs. Connie Smith, held the blood drive at the Northeast Regional School of Biotechnology and Agriscience Jamesville Location. Scholars Perform at Dance Recital Scholars who were enrolled in the Social Dance class at Martin Community College performed at their Spring Dance Recital on May 10th. They demonstrated 17 dances including the waltz, tango, continental, shag and electric slide they have learned from Ms. Wainwright, their instructor. They did an awesome job showing their dance skills! Junior-Senior Prom Held at Yankee Hall The NERSBA Junior-Senior Prom was held at Yankee Hall in Pactolus. Scholars had a wonderful evening dancing and socializing with other scholars The Prom King and Queen were Caleb Smith and Jade Henny. The Prom Prince and Princess were Maurice Perry and Rosie Lilley. NERSBA Scholars Commit to Prom PROMise Several scholars who are attending the Junior-Senior Prom on May 6th made the commitment to Prom PROMise. Read More... NERSBA Participates in NC State FFA Convention In June, over 20 NERSBA scholars attended the 87th North Carolina State FFA Convention held in Raleigh, NC. Teams that competed were: Parliamentary Procedure, Agriculture Tools & Materials (Tool ID), Horticulture, Floriculture, Agriscience Fair, and Creed.
