Introduction Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) remain the main cause of death worldwide,1 and over two-thirds of these deaths occur in developing countries.2 One of the most common CVDs is Coronary Heart Disease (CHD),3 and its treatments and controlling factors affecting outcomes are of fundamental significance for health systems. Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery (CABG) is the most appropriate management for CHD when less invasive medical options are not appropriate.
