A report published today shows that children who undergo heart surgery in Leeds have better outcomes than anywhere else in the country. The National Institute for Cardiovascular Outcomes Research (NICOR), released their report on Thursday, December 10. Eli Lilly has stepped into the gene therapy space after announcing a deal to acquire Prevail Therapeutics, a company focused on developing adeno-associated virus (AAV)-based gene therapies for neurodegenerative diseases.
