Eddie Chi-Him Ma (Credit: City University of Hong Kong) A research team led by City University of Hong Kong (CityU; Kowloon, Hong Kong) neuroscientists recently discovered that low-dose ionising radiation (LDIR), such as X-ray irradiation, can reduce lesion size and reverse motor deficits associated with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and ischaemic stroke in mouse models.
