The Lady Braves used three first half goals to control the match with visiting Worland on Saturday afternoon and claim their fifth win of the season to stand at 5-2-2 overall. On the guys side, the #3 Warriors ran away with the victory 4-0.

Lady Braves: 3 Lady Warriors: 0

Sophomore Jessica Woodford scored her tenth goal of the season in the 14th minute off of a deft pass from Ashley Hall as the Lady Braves jumped out to the 1-0 lead. Hall picked up a goal of her own in the 29th as she placed a perfect lob shot just over the outstretched gloves of Worlands Anna Hepp for the 2-0 lead. Sophomore Dakota Bateman scored her first varsity goal with the games final blast into the right side just before halftime in the 39th minute. The Lady Braves outshot Worland 19-11 overall with Jessica England compiling nine saves. Hepp finished with nine saves for the Lady Warriors.

Braves: 0 Warriors: 4

Worlands Kris Mull and Bryce Overcast each scored a goal in each half as the Warriors overwhelmed the Braves on Saturday afternoon. Star Valley had the games first real chance to score but were turned away by Ian Feather who held two strong scoring opportunities at bay from his keeper position. Mull and Overcast scored just minutes apart in the waning moments of the first half in the 31st and 34th minute respectively. Mull added another early in the second half in the 46th minute and a 3-0 Worland advantage. Overcast led the Warriors with a whopping 11 shots and added his second goal in the 66th minute before leaving the field after a collision. It was a physical match up with Star Valley given three yellow cards and a red card in the match while Worland was given one yellow card.
