Janice Hamilton knows what a nuisance premenopausal symptoms can be with hot flashes and night sweats. She also knows the problems that can come with hormone replacement therapy.

Shes happy to say she found a better way to deal with out of whack hormones thanks to a program called Help For Hormones which is run by Jackie Harvey.

Now after years of promoting natural ways of balancing hormone levels, Hamilton is happy to say shes been able to get the groups founder Harvey to come in person to share her knowledge with people in Nova Scotia.

Harvey is an international speaker, radio program host, seminar leader, author, business trainer and a mother of seven five of whom are girls according to her website. She has beentravelling, teaching and speaking on hormone issues for more than 15 years.

She works in partnership with nurses, medical doctors, health care practitioners and individuals who are interested in natural alternatives for hormonal balance.

Her hormone health blog and newsletters have been widely read by thousands of men and women throughout North America. These live seminars are focused on five steps toward hormonal health.

She has planned three seminars during her trip to Nova Scotia. One will be held in Tatamagouche on Oct. 27. On Oct. 29, shell be speaking at the Museum of Industry in Stellarton from 7 to 9 p.m. Then on Oct. 30 shell hold a seminar in Dartmouth. These live seminars are focused on five steps toward hormonal health. The Stellarton seminar is called Lets Talk about Hormones, From Puberty to Menopause a Womans Journey.

Hamilton said its great to be able to have Harvey come.

I think its important for women nowadays to be able to take charge of their own health and its just important that they have as much valid information as possible when they go to see their doctors or any clinic, Hamilton said.
