Tyler suffered a stroke at birth and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy shortly thereafter, but the Monarch

soccer star refused to let his

disability slow him down. At 15, he

debuted with the United States Men's Paralympic soccer team, and he hopes to travel to the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Brazil.

What's your role

on the Paralympic

soccer team?

There are a lot of older guys. Our captain is 34. I'm one of the youngest, so I've been brought on to the team so that when the older guys retire, the younger guys can come up. A lot of those guys have been on the team for a really long time together. My first time was really tough, because I wasn't used to the atmosphere. The young guys do get treated a little differently, but we just have to push back and hold our own.

How often do you practice with

the team?
