FRANKFORT Junction City resident Mary Gross never imagined leaving her home state of Kentucky, but she plans to do so in the near future so her infant daughter can try cannabis oil treatment for epilepsy.
Gross, 33, was one of dozens of concerned parents who attended Thursdays meeting of the House Standing Committee On Health and Welfare at the Kentucky State Capitol. The hearing, which lasted close to two hours, was partially devoted to the issue of legalizing medical marijuana.
