The chemistry department enjoys a national reputation for excellence and achieves exceptional outcomes in public examinations. Large numbers of the School's students progress from A-level chemistry to related courses at university including medicine, dentistry and veterinary science. The successful applicant will have a strong academic background and will demonstrate that he or she has an understanding of how to inspire very able boys within and beyond the classroom.

Applications are welcome from NQTs and experienced teachers.

In addition, Queen Elizabeth's is fully committed to employment-based teacher training. We are, therefore, also happy to consider applications from scientists without any formal teacher training who might be interested in qualifying to teach whilst employed at the School.
