Bruce is author of, "Get Up, Stand Up", "Surviving America #39;s Depression Epidemic - How to find Morale, Energy and Community in a World Gone Crazy", and "Commonsense Rebellion". He is also the winner of The Health Wyze Report #39;s #39;Trouble Maker of the Year #39; award for 2011. In this interview, we discuss Bruce #39;s insights about mainstream psychiatry, as well as its authoritarian nature. We talk about the brokenness of mental health treatments, including the use of primitive and dehumanizing behavior modification techniques. We discuss the willingness of mental health professionals to pathologize healthy rebellion and any person who questions authorities.
