A homeopathic remedy that is used in complex treatment of chronic ischemic heart disease, arterial hypertension

The Pompano is a complex homeopathic remedy. Included in the medication hawthorn (Crataegus), Arnica (Arnica), Foxglove (Digitalis), Lily of the valley (Convallaria), potassium carbonate increases the strength of contractions of the myocardium, urejaet heart rate, dilate the coronary artery, improve myocardial blood supply, reduce the frequency and intensity of angina attacks. The Pompano reduces the excitability of the nervous system, exerts antihypertensive, anti-anginal and antioxidant effect, improves the rheological properties of blood, microcirculation and metabolism of myocardial cells, reduces lipid peroxidation, increases the diuresis.

Active substance:

Tablets: 1 tablet contains: Crataegus D1 74,8 mg Arnica D6 37.2 mg Kalium carbonicum D6 37.2 mg Digitalis D12 37.2 mg Convallaria D12-37,2 mg.

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, potato starch.

Drops: 100 ml drops for oral administration, the Pompano contains: Crataegus D1 20ml; Kalium carbonicum D6 10ml; Arnica D6 10ml; Convallaria D12 10ml; Digitalis D12 10ml.

Excipients: ethyl alcohol.

Available in the form of sublingual tablets, 12 tablets per blister, 1, 2, 3, or 4 blisters in carton.

Available in the form of drops for oral administration of 20, 50 or 100ml in dark glass bottles with cap dropper, 1 bottle in carton.

Basic physical and chemical properties. Tablets: round flat tablet of white color with an almost orange tint, with possible inclusions, with the distribution below. Drops: Transparent liquid from yellowish to reddish-yellow.

Pharmacotherapeutic group. Complex homeopathic drug.

The drug is used in treatment of such diseases:

Contraindications. Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Pharmacokinetics. Has not been studied.

The drug is taken 30 minutes before a meal or 1 hour after. The tablet is kept under the tongue until dissolved. Drops are usually used in pure form, optionally is dissolved in a small amount of liquid (usually dissolved in tablespoon of water).

The duration of treatment and dose prescribed by your doctor individually for each patient, considering age, weight, severity of disease and other factors.

In chronic ischemic heart disease is usually prescribed for adults, 1 tablet or 10 drops of the drug 3 times a day for 1-2 months. After the stabilization of the patient moving to a twofold administration of the drug, while maintaining the recommended dose.

In heart failure I-II stages, dystrophic changes in cardiac muscle are usually prescribed to adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet or 10 drops 3 times a day for 2-3 months. For dystonia for adults and children over 12 years is usually prescribed 1 tablet or 10 drops 3 times a day for 2-3 months. Then go to the double a dose, while maintaining therapeutic doses.

At the beginning of therapy or with acute conditions that require immediate easing of symptoms, designate adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet or 10 drops; children under 12 years: 1/2 tablet or 5 drops. Taking the drug every 30 minutes or 1 hour until improvement of the condition of the patient, but not more than 8 times, then transferred to a standard regimen.

If arrhythmias should not take the drug without consulting a physician, since Pompano can reduce ectopic activity in the heart (supraventricular and ventricular extrasystoles) and in some patients, sometimes possibly more frequent supraventricular and ventricular extrasystoles.

The Pompano oral drops should not be used in patients with alcohol dependence because one dose contains 160 mg of alcohol. The alcohol content should also be considered when using the drug in pregnancy, lactation, children and patients with a high risk of liver diseases and the risk of epilepsy.

At the beginning of treatment may temporarily worsen existing symptoms (initial reaction). This reaction usually is not harmful. If symptoms persist, the drug should be discontinued.
