Home TV Grey's Anatomy Tonight on Greys Anatomy season 11, episode 8: The POTUS comes calling

Derek will once again face the decision to work for the president tonight on Greys Anatomy season 11, episode 8, Risk.

On the last episode of Greys Anatomy Amelia was blindsided when a fellow recovering addict came into the hospital. She was looking for information on her parents that had been in a fire. The last thing Amelia expected was to be outed in front of everyone about her past as an addict. Derek stepped in and took over Amelias surgery.

When Derek refused to talk about Amelias past, Owen called an emergency meeting. After wising up, Derek did come to her defense in the meeting and said that he cant do the job any better than Amelia. Despite this, Meredith still looked pretty pissed off at him.

Dr. Herman went missing most of the episode with Arizona unable to reach her. So when a patient that had a fetal surgery scheduled has an emergency, Arizona decides to deliver the baby. Luckily, shes able to save the babys life. But the mother didnt survive the surgery. Still, Herman showed up just in time to back up Arizonas decision to the father.

Instead of turning Herman in, Arizona decides she needs to learn more. In order to be able to save both the mom and baby next time she wants to learn more about fetal surgery.

Maggie and Meredith disagree with Derek about the best way to approach a patients case, which leads to a bigger argument between the couple. Meanwhile, Callie feels responsible when one of her veterans is pushed too far and one doctors routine procedure results in a devastating diagnosis, on the winter finale of Greys Anatomy, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
