My name is Peter Laboy and this is my Tufts supplement response video. The audio is low but with earphones it should be heard pretty easily. Lyrics: You pledge allegiance to the flag? a symbol of our rights a flag which sees you as a second class citizen brown boy brown boy how did this happen?... Your mind was once so bright and full of hope now so desolate and full of dope. I understand your innocence was long ago stolen at no fault of your own but now your actions are criminal Like a modern day Al Capone the drugs, the alcohol, the murder, the crime they sing to you you can no longer resist Brown Boy Brown Boy you wanted to be someone but the American dream? Please there never was one Dr. King #39;s vision never applied to you this hypothetical world of equality is forever lost to you. How did it come to this?... In this nation we live in yours and mine built on the premise of inequality on the back of injustice we pretend things have changed yet being different remains synonymous with the lesser. How can we remain silent in this world, with such death and destruction with so many in pain unable to function- How can we the privileged remain quiet nearly silent while our mother earth remains altogether misused the laws of our forefathers completely abused no longer can this generation stand by. This American family of ours is tattered but not broken for there still remains the well-spoken and unbroken the educated, those still willing to fight for their dream....a dream of ...
