Uniform Advantage (UA) is continuing to spread awareness through their Dance for Autism White scrub prints and wanted to play a bigger role and contribute more to this cause. This health condition needs more attention than ever because it affects so many children, 1 in 68 to be exact. $1 from the sale of each of these scrub tops and scrub jackets will be donated to Generation Rescue totaling UAs contributions to over $2,600. This gift will go towards the funding of a medical treatment for one individual.

There is no cure for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) but early detection and treatment can help improve a childs life overall, starting with their diet. Generation Rescue was created because the founding partners and husband and wife, JB and Lisa Handley, were affected by their son, Jamisons journey with Autism. They both also co-produced a documentary film entitled Autism Yesterday. Julie Matthews, an autism nutrition specialist said, The road to autism recovery begins with a diet. Specific foods that have gluten and casein are known to cause serious issues for children affected with Autism and should not be consumed. Julie says a diet without them will help balance a childs biochemistry, affect systemic healing and provide relief of autism symptoms.

Autism was one of the health conditions that UAs customers were interested in supporting because they see it in their workplace daily especially pediatric nurses. Lori Nadeau-Dunlap, VP of Marketing said, We listened to our customers and wanted to do something that meant a lot to them. We designed the Autism prints to give back and felt Generation Rescue was the perfect charity to contribute to.
