Heres your Week in Tech all the gear news, tips and announcements you need and none of the marketing gibberish you dont.

Protective gear brand POC will auction off four unique Cervelo road bikes, two limited-edition RCAs and two P5 time trial bikes, to support Spinalis, a charitable foundation whose mission is to promote research and treatment development in the field of spinal cord injuries.

Cervelo produced a limited number of its $10,000 RCA frames. The two RCAs included in POCs auction are valued over $20,000.

The auctions celebrate the launch of POCs AVIP (Attention, Visibility, Interaction and Protection) concept, and are a result of a collaboration between POC, Cervelo, Fizik, 3T, Hed, Shimano, and TRP.

The auctions began on June 17th and will run through July 1st.

How much sealant do you need? Somewhere between some and a bunch is the answer most would give. But CaffeLatex would like to be a bit more precise.

Tire sealant is a must for a dialed tire and wheel setup. Knowing how much sealant to use isnt always intuitive, but with this new app you can calculate the quantity of sealant (specifcally CaffeLatex sealant, but wed guess it would work with others as well) needed per wheel based on tire size, tire construction, and intended use. Whether youre riding 26, 29, 27.5, or fat tires the app will recognize any wheel size. The app also recognizes tubeless, tubeless-ready, tubular, and tube-type used as tubeless setups, and adjusts accordingly.
