Wide Bay Burnett Affordable IVF Services Now Available

BUNDABERG, Australia, June 12, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Affordable IVF has made its low cost IVF and ICSI fertility treatment services available to prospective families throughout the Wide Bay Burnett Region, it was announced today.

The new service, which originated on the Sunshine Coast, has been expanding and now offers some of the services in Bundaberg. The service has been available since March 2014 and is accessible at Fertility Solutions' Bundaberg clinic located at 89 Woongarra Street.

"Affordable IVF on the Sunshine Coast has been a great resource for couples who otherwise would not be able to start their family, due to the high cost of full service fertility treatment," said clinic director Denise Donati. "We've decided to expand the service, so that couples in Maryborough, the Fraser Coast, and the Wide Bay Burnett regions could take advantage of the services."

Donati says that having access to affordable IVF and ICSI treatment services can be the deciding factor in whether couples are able to pursue their dream of having a baby.

"Demand for low cost fertility treatment is growing," Donati added. "To make it easier, we've decided to make some of our services available locally, to cut down on the amount of travel required.

"Our Bundaberg location offers the same services as our Buderim location. Patients can attend the clinic for treatment planning, medication collection, cycle monitoring (including in-house scanning) and counselling. Couples only have to travel to the Sunshine Coast for their initial specialist appointment, egg collection and embryo transfer procedures. Everything else can occur right here in Bundaberg," Donati said.

This new approach to IVF treatment can save people thousands of dollars when compared to full service costs with some couples finding themselves out of pocket as little as $600 for a full IVF cycle.
